This week is a big one!
I’ve wanted to talk with Andrew Solomon for years.
His books have impacted me significantly, especially The Noonday Demon and Far From The Tree. So much so that I included a reference to his work in my own successful book proposal as something to which I aspired. (The documentary film adaptation of Far From The Tree is a must-watch). His TED talks – especially Depression, the secret we share and How the worst moments in our lives make us who we are – inspire me to go deeper in my own speaking and thinking.
Andrew deserves every bit of acclaim that he receives as a writer, a speaker, and an activist, and a thought leader. However, he’s also a really nice person. I was honoured to visit Andrew at his home in New York City to record this conversation. Have a listen and, as always, please like, subscribe, and share!
